Renegade Raceway is my favorite racetrack in Washington state. Derek and Sarah run the track, and they’re an excellent team. They’re also great friends of mine!
The raceway is a top-notch facility and even undergoes improvements each year. For instance, there are upgrades like new landscaping, and the track often gets a fresh coat of concrete.
Renegade Raceway caters to a wide variety of racers. These include DTP Race Wars, jet cars, wheel standers, funny cars, and weekend racers.
There’s a concession stand available, bleachers, and excellent announcing over the PA system! And you’ll find plenty of free parking close to the bleachers too.
It’s a scenic drive from the Tri-Cities up the Yakima valley, taking in all the great sites. I like to stop off at some of the wineries after the race. And the track is pretty close to Mt. Rainier, too, if you’d like to make a weekend vacation out of it. (My wife and I often do!)
At Renegade, you’ll get to watch high-performance, fast, awesome nostalgic cars. You’ll have to pay for entry to be a spectator or a racer. But the prices are very fair! I recommend this track over any other raceway because it’s just more fun and run so well by Derek and Sarah.

Location
Renegade Raceway is located at 1395 N Track Road in Wapato, Washington. You’ll find the track between I-82 and Highway 97.
